Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Fleetward, a brand of Maritime Ventures S.r.l.("Company", "we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit this website.
We set no advertising cookies and do not profile or track you across sites. The only non-essential technology we use is privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics, and it does not run until you allow it. Until you make a choice, nothing beyond what is strictly necessary to load the site is loaded.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies", such as the browser's local storage, work the same way. They can be strictly necessary, functional, analytical, or used for advertising. The rules below apply to all of them, not only to cookies in the narrow sense.
Strictly necessary storage
To remember your cookie choice, we store a single record in your browser's local storage under the key fw-consent. It holds only your preference (analytics on or off), a version number, and the date you chose. It contains no identifier, is never sent to a server, and is read solely to honour your decision. Because this storage exists only to respect your own choice, it is strictly necessary and exempt from consent. You can delete it at any time through your browser, or by selecting "Reject", and you will simply be asked again on your next visit.
Analytics (consent required)
With your consent, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, how this page is used and how it performs. These tools are cookieless: they set no cookies and store nothing persistent on your device. They do not build a profile of you and do not track you across other websites.
When enabled, they process limited, mostly aggregate information such as the pages viewed, referring page, approximate location (country level), device and browser type, and performance measurements (Core Web Vitals). Visitor counts are derived from a non-persistent, daily-rotating hash rather than a stored identifier. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with your consent under the ePrivacy rules. The scripts are not loaded at all until you opt in, and they stop running if you withdraw consent. Vercel acts as our data processor for this purpose.
Third-party requests
Loading and using the site involves a small number of third-party services. Depending on the activity these act as independent data controllers or as our processors, and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies:
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Cookies / consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hosting | Vercel Inc. | Hosting and delivery of the website; may process standard server request logs (such as IP address) for security and operation. | No cookies set on your device; necessary, no consent needed |
| Analytics & performance | Vercel Inc. | Cookieless, aggregate measurement of page usage and performance, loaded only with your consent. | No cookies; loaded only after you opt in |
| Google Calendar | Google Ireland Ltd. | Opened only if you click to book an introductory call; scheduling is then handled on Google's own pages. | Governed by Google |
We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of these providers.
Your choices
On your first visit a banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics with equal ease, or open Manage preferencesto decide category by category. Necessary storage is always on; analytics is off unless you turn it on. There is no "cookie wall": the site works fully whatever you choose.
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer to reopen your preferences. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to keep analytics off. You can also view, delete, or block storage for any site through your browser settings.
